Lu Hao, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shanghai Municipality, but was born in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province. He was born in 1967, joined the CPC in 1985 as a Middle School Student of Xi’an City, and entered the work force in 1989. His father Lu Hongsheng is an old professor of College of Machinery and Power-Generating Equipment of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology. From 2003 to 2008, he was Vice-Mayor of Beijing Municipality. He served as 1st Secretary of Secretariat of the CYLC Central Committee from 2008 to 2013.
He was a member of 18th CPC Central Committee and is now a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee. From 2013 to 2018 he was Governor of Heilongjiang Province and deputy secretary of the Heilongjiang CPC Provincial Committee. In 2018 he became Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources, and newly formed ministry that replaced the replace the Ministry of Land & Resources, State Oceanic Administration (SOA) and the national surveying and mapping bureau.
